We are still selling tickets for a pellet smoker and need to sell more so we can give this away. Tickets are $5.00 each, 5 for $20.00 and 30 for $100.00, all board members have tickets or contact me and I will get you some.
This year’s banquet will be held on Nov, 23rd at Bilbrey Farms in Sparta, TN. I will be mailing letter with information this week with address and time. Please let me know if you plan to attend by Nov. 18th by sending text or email listed above with your name and number attending. Cost is $30.00 per person to cover meal and venue. There will also be a membership meeting before awards to elect officers and appoint a board member to a 3 year term. We hope everyone can attend this year for good food and fun.

Our UCWHA show on May 11th was a very good show with over 150 entries, the board would like to thank everyone who participated by showing or just watching. Also, we would like to thank the following sponsors,
Putnam County Fair, M&M Electric- Mike Tarver, White Creek Stables, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas, DTC Communications, Dekalb-Rutherford CO-OP, Stones River Wealth Management, Jimmy & Donna Sherrell, & DT McCall.
Shows schedule for June is Putnam County Fair (double points) on June 15th at Putnam County Fairgrounds in Cookeville and July is Woodbury Lions Club on July 6th. We are working with show managers to include more shows, but several have decided not to have shows this year. If anyone has updated information or show in area to add please let a board member know.
We are still selling tickets on chance to win pellet smoker valued over $1100.00, we will draw for winner after we have sold 800 tickets, tickets are $5 each, 5 for $20 or 30 for $100 and every board member has tickets or contact me. We have about half of tickets sold so please get yours today.

A new show has been added to schedule, OCOEE SPRING FLING in Cleveland TN on April 19th & 20th. Please remember to send in your membership forms before this show if you want points to count. We are just a week away from our annual Awards Banquet, if you have not notified Pat Stout please do so if you plan to attend. Just a reminder, awards go to the horse and we provide one award. Make plans to attend this years Award Banquet and Membership Meeting at Bilbrey Farms in Sparta on Saturday November 18th, RSVP to Pat Stout if you plan to attend. Pat will be sending out more information but if you don’t receive you can contact either of us and everyone is welcome to attend.
During meeting we will be electing board members and officers for 2024, if are interested in being on Board let me know or Gary Bowman. Gary Bowman and Lesa Davidson have informed Board they no longer want to be Officers so we need members to fill their positions. We will be reaching out to members who have had past or current interest on being on Board to fill positions.
The Putnam County Horse Show in Cookeville, TN scheduled for Saturday July 29th will be starting at 6:00pm, pushing start time back due to heat. Hope everyone plans to attend and participate at this show, reminder this is a double point show. Current High Point Count is on our show page.
