UCWHA 2025 April updates

A new show year is beginning and updates are being posted as we know information. We have two shows scheduled; UCWHA, Cookeville Tn on May 10, 2025 and Smokey Mountain Classic, Sevierville TN on May 17, 2025. Please start mailing in your membership forms for 2025, please fill out all information so we can email or text important information to everyone as needed. UCWHA Banquet

The annual membership meeting and awards banquet will be held on November 23, 2024, information below,

Bilbrey Farms- 1209 Gum Springs Mountain Rd, Sparta TN 38583

Start time 6:00pm Cost per person $30.00

There will be a brief membership meeting before awards to elect officers and board member for 2025.

November updates

A new High Point Count has been added to the SHOW page, please review and if you have any questions, please contact me before November 17, 2024, at [email protected] or text 615-464-5047. I will review your comments or questions and reply. There will be no changes to count after this date unless approved by board. Please read rules on SHOW page before sending questions, but I am willing to help anytime.

We are still selling tickets for a pellet smoker and need to sell more so we can give this away. Tickets are $5.00 each, 5 for $20.00 and 30 for $100.00, all board members have tickets or contact me and I will get you some.

This year’s banquet will be held on Nov, 23rd at Bilbrey Farms in Sparta, TN. I will be mailing letter with information this week with address and time. Please let me know if you plan to attend by Nov. 18th by sending text or email listed above with your name and number attending. Cost is $30.00 per person to cover meal and venue. There will also be a membership meeting before awards to elect officers and appoint a board member to a 3 year term. We hope everyone can attend this year for good food and fun.

October updates

A new High Point count has been added to SHOW page, please review and if you have questions or corrections contact me at 615-464-5047 or text. Our last show for 2024 will be White County Show on Friday Nov. 1st at White County Fairgrounds.

Start making plans to attend our annual Membership meeting and Awards Banquet on Nov. 23rd at Bilbrey Farms in Sparta, TN. more details to be added later or text me with number of attendants at 615-464-5047. During membership meeting we will be electing officers and board member for 2025, if anyone is interested serving as a board member or on a committee, please contact Clay Rodgers or Rod Slagle. June 2024 updates

Our UCWHA show on May 11th was a very good show with over 150 entries, the board would like to thank everyone who participated by showing or just watching. Also, we would like to thank the following sponsors,

Putnam County Fair, M&M Electric- Mike Tarver, White Creek Stables, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas, DTC Communications, Dekalb-Rutherford CO-OP, Stones River Wealth Management, Jimmy & Donna Sherrell, & DT McCall.

Shows schedule for June is Putnam County Fair (double points) on June 15th at Putnam County Fairgrounds in Cookeville and July is Woodbury Lions Club on July 6th. We are working with show managers to include more shows, but several have decided not to have shows this year. If anyone has updated information or show in area to add please let a board member know.

We are still selling tickets on chance to win pellet smoker valued over $1100.00, we will draw for winner after we have sold 800 tickets, tickets are $5 each, 5 for $20 or 30 for $100 and every board member has tickets or contact me. We have about half of tickets sold so please get yours today.

UCWHA April updates

Show schedule for High Point Awards for 2024 has been posted, please take time to read rules and categories. A new show has been added to schedule, OCOEE SPRING FLING in Cleveland TN on April 19th & 20th. Please remember to send in your membership forms before this show if you want points to count. Also send to new address below or contact Jimmy Sherrell for more information.

We also need sponsors for The UCWHA show any amount will be appreciated. Donations to club or tickets for fund raising can be made to any board member or mailed to me.

2023 Award Banquet and Membership Meeting

We are just a week away from our annual Awards Banquet, if you have not notified Pat Stout please do so if you plan to attend. Just a reminder, awards go to the horse and we provide one award. If you have multiple owners or riders and want additional awards, contact Pat Stout at 931-265-1717 or [email protected]. On the show sheet is final High Points Awards information, no changes will be made without approval from Board.

We will have a Membership meeting before awards to elect officers and board members for 2023. The floor will open for any other business but would like to know before meeting.

October Updates

High Point Count has been updated with all shows for 2023, please review and if there are any questions contact me by text at 615-464-5047 or email [email protected], I will review and get back to you. You have until Oct 31st to make changes or corrections after that date changes by Board only.

Make plans to attend this years Award Banquet and Membership Meeting at Bilbrey Farms in Sparta on Saturday November 18th, RSVP to Pat Stout if you plan to attend. Pat will be sending out more information but if you don’t receive you can contact either of us and everyone is welcome to attend.

During meeting we will be electing board members and officers for 2024, if are interested in being on Board let me know or Gary Bowman. Gary Bowman and Lesa Davidson have informed Board they no longer want to be Officers so we need members to fill their positions. We will be reaching out to members who have had past or current interest on being on Board to fill positions.

Putnam County Horse Show

The Putnam County Horse Show in Cookeville, TN scheduled for Saturday July 29th will be starting at 6:00pm, pushing start time back due to heat. Hope everyone plans to attend and participate at this show, reminder this is a double point show. Current High Point Count is on our show page.
