2023 Award Banquet and Membership Meeting

We are just a week away from our annual Awards Banquet, if you have not notified Pat Stout please do so if you plan to attend. Just a reminder, awards go to the horse and we provide one award. If you have multiple owners or riders and want additional awards, contact Pat Stout at 931-265-1717 or [email protected]. On the show sheet is final High Points Awards information, no changes will be made without approval from Board.

We will have a Membership meeting before awards to elect officers and board members for 2023. The floor will open for any other business but would like to know before meeting.

October Updates

High Point Count has been updated with all shows for 2023, please review and if there are any questions contact me by text at 615-464-5047 or email [email protected], I will review and get back to you. You have until Oct 31st to make changes or corrections after that date changes by Board only.

Make plans to attend this years Award Banquet and Membership Meeting at Bilbrey Farms in Sparta on Saturday November 18th, RSVP to Pat Stout if you plan to attend. Pat will be sending out more information but if you don’t receive you can contact either of us and everyone is welcome to attend.

During meeting we will be electing board members and officers for 2024, if are interested in being on Board let me know or Gary Bowman. Gary Bowman and Lesa Davidson have informed Board they no longer want to be Officers so we need members to fill their positions. We will be reaching out to members who have had past or current interest on being on Board to fill positions.

Putnam County Horse Show

The Putnam County Horse Show in Cookeville, TN scheduled for Saturday July 29th will be starting at 6:00pm, pushing start time back due to heat. Hope everyone plans to attend and participate at this show, reminder this is a double point show. Current High Point Count is on our show page.

June 2023 updates

Don’t forget to support the Cumberland County show and Fentress County show this month.

We still have a Fund Raising event going for a chance to win one of three Heritage 22 revolvers or one dozen hats from Ponystitch (your choice of color & logo). Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00, see or contact any board member to purchase. Drawing will be at Putnam County Fair show on July 29th, do not have to be present to win so make sure your name and contact information is correct and easy to read.

2023 Show Season Begins

The 2023 shows have begun, please review show page to see shows, dates and updated High Point Counts. Please read rules and categories information.

Applications for UCWHA scholarships are available anyone interested please contact me at [email protected] or text 615-464-5047 with name and address and I will send you a package with forms and instructions. Scholarships are for high school seniors or under graduates in college that have been a member for at least two or more years. We would like applications back by June 1st or at least request before that date if interested.

Make plans to attend annual meeting and awards banquet next month, Pat Stout will be mailing notices and details will be posted on website.

We still have tickets for sale on chance to win a Henry Golden Boy 22 rifle, contact any board member to purchase. This is our fund raiser for fall expenses, and we need everyone’s help.

September Shows & Updates

New High Point Count has been updated and can be found on show page.

Shows for September are Warren County Fair Sept 17th and White County Fair Sept 24th. These are last shows for this year, get out and support these shows, and earn more points.

Congratulations to Sarah Coffee Burks winner of firepit, we are now selling tickets for a Henry 22 rifle. Contact any board member if you want to purchase a ticket for $5 or 5 for $20. We are hoping to draw for rifle at annual meeting if we can sell enough tickets by then.

Putnam County Fair

Good morning to all, the fair and board members met this morning and decided to have horse show as plan. Hope everyone can make plans to attend and show we need good numbers to continue having this show.
